Birch’s Music Monday

Welcome back to another Music Monday! We have some good tunes to liven up your rainy Monday blues…

First, we couldn’t be more excited about the upcoming Sigor Rós’ album Valtari that is streaming this week on NPR before it’s released May 29th. Watch their…interesting…. video for the song “Ég Anda” which is more a less a step-by-step visual manual on how to prevent someone from choking…

…also streaming on NPR is Regina’s Spektor new adorably quirky album What We Saw From the Cheap Seats

…lastly, don’t miss this fun new track from Brooklyn-based band, Magmana, called “Watch the Ball” that you can listen to HERE.

Birch’s Music Monday

Welcome back to another edition of Birch’s Music Monday.  There’s  a lot of great music coming out this week and we’re so excited to share it with you!

First, Best Coast is releasing the follow up to their 2010 summer album, “Crazy for You,” called “The Only Place” and we’re so happy that the album holds the same breezy, indie-pop, summer feel that the first album did.  Listen for yourself on NPR

….without leaving NPR, take a listen to “Bloom” the new, and absolutely fantastic, new album from Beach House.  Between the beautiful lyrics and the airy synths, this album will easily become a go-to summer album…

…lastly, don’t miss the new single from Passion Pit.  ”Take a Walk” will be on the bands’ anticipated album which will be out July 24th. Get a taste of what is to come now!
